Solution

Thermal Equilibrium : 2 Marks
Significance : 1 Mark

Heat flows from the body of higher temperature to the body of lower temperature, until or unless temperature of both the bodies becomes same. When the temperature of both the bodies becomes same then the bodies are said to be in thermal equilibrium. There will be no flow on heat from one body to another, if bodies are in thermal equilibrium.

If two bodies at different temperature at brought in contact, they will exchange their heat untill they reach a state of thermal equilibrium.
