Advantages of Tinning

  • Tin plating has several advantages, including corrosion resistance, ductility, and solderability.
  • It is also widely employed in the electric and electronic industries because of its low transfer resistance.
  • To prevent the base material and coating from mixing, a mid-layer of Copper or Nickel (3-6m) is utilized beneath the Tin coating.
