As per IRC, on two way traffic condition, we do not consider the gradient of the road in case of calculating SSD.

Also, since it is a 2 way traffic, SSD will be twice that of SSD for one way road.

$\therefore SSD=2\times [vt+\frac{v^2}{2gf}]$
$\Rightarrow SSD=2\times [0.278\times 40\times 2.5+\frac{(0.278\times 40{)}^2}{2\times 9.81\times 0.35}]$
$=91.61m$
