Solution

Dear student.

The MN blood group is a type of human blood group. It is controlled by one gene present on chromosome 4, and has two alleles (M and N), which are codominant. As a result of which there are three phenotypes, which distinguishes blood groups into MM, MN, and NN. Glycoprotein present on the surface of RBC is the reason for MN blood group system.
