Question

What is Molar Conductivity at Infinite Dilution?

Open in App
Solution

Molar conductivity at infinite dilution:

  1. Limiting molar conductivity is the molar conductivity at infinite dilution.
  2. In the other words, we can say it is a limiting molar conductivity if the electrolyte concentration approaches zero.
  3. It is defined as one mole of ions, on dilution, ions more apart, and when the mobility of ions increases then the molar conductivity of the solution is also increased.
