What are motion and its types?
Definition
Motion is the process through which an object's location changes constantly.
Types of motion
There are mainly two types of motion, such as:
Uniform motion:
The motion of an item in which it travels in a single direction and its velocity continues constantly along its line while it traverses equal distances throughout approximately the same time, regardless of the duration of the period.
Example: The movement of such a ceiling fan's blades.
Non-uniform motion:
This motion is characterized as an item moving at a variable speed and not covering the same distance throughout equal time intervals, regardless of the time period duration.
Example: The motion of a train.
