Motional EMF:
- The induced emf in a conducting rod even though it travels inside a magnetic field zone is called emotional emf.
- Whenever a conducting rods move in a magnetic field, possibly demonstrating translational motion or rotatory motion, a potential difference would be created at the rod's endpoints. Along the length of the rod, an electric field appears that is directed from the potentially high end towards the low potential ending. This EMF is known as Motional EMF.
