It is type of fission where repeated nuclear and cytoplasmic division produces numerous daughter cells enclosed within a cyst.
Under favorable conditions the cyst breaks up and each of the daughter cells gives rise to a new individual.
This type of reproduction occurs on Amoeba, Plasmodium.
