NADPH stands for Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate which is return as NADP+.

Function of NADPH

a) It plays an important role in plant photosynthesis.
b) It acts as an electron acceptor in light reaction and electron donor in light-independent reactions.
c)It also acts as an antioxidant, coenzyme and as a source of the electron in nitrogen fixation.
