NAD (respiration) or NADP(photosynthesis) is usually +vely charged.
When it carries H+ it happens following way ->
NADP+ +e- =NADP + H+ = NADPH+ + e- =
NADPH+ + e- = NADPH + H+ = NADPH + H+
(Sorry all H+ should be above showing hydrogen ion, rather proton & e- electron)
Same happens in NAD+ case as well.
Basically, they are proton carrier (and electron acceptor).
But, as these complexity students fail to grasp, we (some Teachers or books) say NADPH2 (which normally never happens).
Full form of NADPH2 is nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydrogen phosphate that is reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADP) and serve as electron carrier.
