Three laws of motion of Newton are as follows:
- Newton's first law: Until and unless acted upon by an external unbalanced force, an object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion at the same speed and in the same direction.
- Newton's second law: The second law states that the applied force is directly proportional to the rate of change of momentum of the body i.e.,
- Newton's third law: According to the third law, for each and every action (force) in nature, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
