Question

What is nitrogen cycle?

Open in App
Solution

The circulation of nitrogen through the living and non-living compounds of the biosphere (air, water, soil, plants and animals) is called the nitrogen cycle.
When plants and animals die, they decay and nitrogen is returned to the soil.
In this way the amount of nitrogen is balanced in air and the gas can be used again and again by plants.
