Question

What is Non-Ideal gas behavior?

Open in App
Solution

Non ideal gas:

  1. The behavior of gas commonly means the observation of the relationship between volume, temperature, and pressure is not properly or accurately described by the ideal gas laws.
  2. In the ideal gas equation, it acts properly when the intermolecular force of attraction between the molecules of the gases is negligible.
  3. If the temperatures and pressures are different the ideal gas law might not give an exact result. Thus a non-ideal situation is generated.
