What Is Norma...
Question
What Is Normal Diode?

Solution
A diode is a device that allows the flow of current in only one direction.
When connecting a P side of a diode to the positive voltage side and the N side to the negative voltage side, the diode is forward biased
When connecting a P side of a diode to the negative voltage side and the N side to the positive voltage side the diode is reverse biased.
The diode conducts only when forward biased that is it allows current,
The diode does not conduct only when reverse biased that is it blocks current,
An ordinary diode is a device with a very low reverse current across it in the micro-ampere (A) range.
When a normal diode is run in reverse bias, it gets destroyed.
