The numerical coefficient would be any constant term that appears in front of one or more variables in a mathematical equation. In other terms, a numerical coefficient is defined as a number multiplied by a variable.

For example, in the phrase 3x+2y+4,3 is the coefficient of x,2 is the coefficient of y, but 4 is not a coefficient because it is not multiplied by a variable.
