The ordinate of a point:

In a coordinate point (x,y) , the x represents abscissa, and the y represents ordinate.

The coordinate of any point on the x-axis will be (x,0).

Since ordinate is the y-coordinate of the point which is 0 here

Hence, the ordinate of any point on the x-axis is 0.
