Organic evolution is described as slow and continuous changes which occur in organisms due to genetical modifications, natural selection, geographical isolation etc which pass from one generation to other.
According to Darwin, Natural selection is responsible for the process of evolution.
Evolution of whales can be explained by evolution. The various changes involved in the process were: front legs became flippers. Back legs disappeared. Their bodies became more streamlined and they developed tail flukes to better propel themselves through the water.
