Pathogenicity is the term which is used to describe the capability of organisms to cause the disease. The disease may be developed in animals, plants and humans. Infectious diseases may be developed due to the interaction of the pathogenic molecule which is termed as antigen with the cells of the animal. The microbes which can cause disease or infection are called as pathogenic microbes.
