Plasma:

1. Blood consists of pale yellow colour liquid called plasma.
2. The blood cells are suspended in the plasma.
3. About 90 percent of the plasma is made up of water.
4. It contains antibodies which protect us from the pathogens.
5. It also contains fibrinogen, a protein that helps in clotting of blood.
