Open in App
Solution

A beta sheet or beta pleated sheet organization is a common motif seen in the secondary structure of proteins. It consists of beta strands which are connected laterally by hydrogen bonds as backbones. It forms twisted, pleated sheet-like structure. It is of two types, parallel and anti-parallel beta pleated sheet. Quaternary structure is the structure that involves multiple protein subunits. It is a multi-subunit complex. There could be different protein subunits (heteromultimeric) or same protein subunits (homomultimeric).
