What is political radicalisation? How did it spread in Germany?

Political Radicalisation is the process by which an individual or group can become willing to perpetrate acts of political violence.
a. The Weimer Repbublic was apprehensive of the rise of Spartacist Legaue who wanted radical changes on lines of Bolshevik revolution in Russia.
b. The democrats were threatened by the rising influence of Communism, after the success of Russian revolution.
c. It was a clash of ideology between the democracy and communism which propagated stateless and a class less society.

d. Later the Communist party of Germany was formed to trying to offer a political alternative.
e. But their beliefs of social control and ownership of property, of revolution to bring about a change in the society was resented by the democrats, the Catholics.
f. The rise of political radicalism can also be attributed to the economic crisis that Germany faced,
g. Germany was financially crippled after the first World War, little could Weimer Republic do to recover its economy. Germany under the reparation clause had to part with much of its gold reserves and later decided to print and issue more currency to pay for war damage and to exchange it.
h. Occupation of Ruhr by the French forces created further resentment.
