Pollution is any contaminant into the environment that will cause adverse effect to environment. Pollution could be due to chemicals or energy, such as noise. Plastic is one of the nonbiodegradable pollutants which has an adverse effect on the environment. There is different efforts and way to reduce the plastic waste. These are:

1. Reduce the use of plastic.

2. Support a bag tax or ban.

3. Use paper bag instead of plastic bags.

4. Reuse plastic.

5. Spread awareness about harmful effects of plastic.
