  3. If the outer circle of a polycyclic stele is solenostelic, it is a polycyclic solenostele, and if it is dictyostelic, it is a polycyclic dictyostele.
  4. Pteridium aquilinum has two rings of vascular tissue, while Montania pectinata has three.
