  1. The Potassium Permanganate ( KMnO4) is a chemical compound that can be formed by the action of Manganese oxide ore and Potassium hydroxide.
  2. Potassium Permanganate is generally used to treat skin infections.
  3. It can be used for bacterial as well as fungal infections.
  4. It works as a drying agent so it can be used as an astringent.
  5. When it comes in contact with your skin it releases Oxygen to kill the germs.
  6. It can be useful in treating the Athlete's foot.
  7. For the application before using it must be diluted with water.
  8. It does not have any adverse effect on your skin but leaves a brown stain on your skin which will disappear in one or two days.
