The activities based directly on natural resources are called primary sector. Agriculture can be taken as an example. We have to depend, mainly upon natural resources like soil,rain,sunlight,or etc. to grow crops. Therefore agriculture crop is a natural product. In the same way forestry, animal husbandry, mining etc. are also included in the primary sector.
