Probability is the value that ranges between 0 and 1.
In real life experiments and other experiments where the number of events is sufficiently large.
we cannot perform the experiment and calculate its probablity.
so we do this p[event]= n[e]/ n[s]
n[e]= number of favourable events
n[s] = total size of sample space
eg: tossing a coin
s= [ head ] or [tail]
suppose you want to find the probablity of getting head
n[event of getting head]= 1 [ only one head in s]
n[s]= 2 [ head or tail can come]
p[head]= 1/2
so your chace of getting head = 1/2
ie 1 out of 2 chances.
this can be interpreted as 50% chance of getting head [ 100 x 1 / 2 = 50]
