Profibrinolysin is an inactive enzyme present in the semen, released from the prostate gland. It is released in semen. After insemination, it becomes activated in the female genital tract. This sperms are not able to move in this semen.The active fibrinolysin, just liquefies the thick semen, so that it becomes like a thin liquid, in which the sperms can swim.
