Pseudostem is considered and appears as a stem but a part of the leaves. The leaves are ovarlapped to form the circular layers which gets arranged to form the stem. The common example is of the banana. The pesudostem in the banana is considered as the stem. There are leaf bases which gets ovarlapped and form this structure. The pseudostem is strong to hold the leaves.
