Dear student.
Respiratory acidosis is a medical condition where as a result of alveolar hypoventilation concentration of CO2 increases. Lungs fail to remove the increased CO2, which causes decrease in the pH of blood and other bodily fluids, thus making the fludis acidic. Symptoms may include headache, confusion, anxiety, drowsiness, etc. Asthma, COPD, sleep apnea and other CNS disorder may cause respiratory disorder.
Regards.
