Respiratory tract:

  1. It is the path through which the air (rich in oxygen: from the atmosphere) travels to the lungs, which is followed by air (rich in carbon-dioxide: as a result of the body's metabolic functions) that is exhaled back from the lungs into the atmosphere.
  2. The path of the respiratory tract is as follows:
    Nose (Nasal cavity) → Pharynx → Larynx → Trachea → Bronchi → Lungs
