Solution

The correct option is D Antibody
ELISA or Enzyme Liknked Immunosorbent Assay is a technique to detect the presence of antigen or antibody in the given sample. It is based on antigen-antibody reaction. ELISA can detect the antibodies related to a infectious diseases. That's why ELISA is used as a confirmatory test for AIDS. The known antigens are immobilized on the surface of wells in a microtiter plate. Then the sample in which presence of antibodies has to be tested, is added. There occurs antigen-antibody reaction and produces a colour that confirms the presence of the antibodies.
