Sexual reproduction involves two individuals of the opposite sex. In humans, males and females have different sexual organs that produce male and female gametes respectively.
Male gametes are sperms and female gametes are ova. The male and female gametes fuse inside the body of the female and form a diploid zygote that develops into a new individual.
