Sludge refers to the residual, semi-solid material that is produced as a by-product during sewage treatment of industrial or municipal wastewater
​The sludge is removed using a scraper and then transferred to a tank where anaerobic bacteria initiates the process of disintegration. All pathogens get eliminated through this process The byproduct of this decomposition is bio-gas which is a low cost fuel.
