What is solifluction and soil creep?

Solifluction:
Solifluction is a term used to describe the progressive movement of a mass down a slope caused by freeze-thaw activity.
During the warmer months, thaw, water in the soil is stuck by frozen permafrost beneath it, causing solifluction.
Soil creep:
Soil creeps or creeps are common names for downhill creeps.
It is a type of creep defined by the gradual, downward movement of rock and soil down a low-grade slope.
