What is solubility? How can we find the solubility of a substance in a liquid?
Solubility: It is the ability of a solute to dissolve in a given solvent at a given temperature. It is usually expressed as a percentage.
The formula to find solubility is Solubility = (weight of solute x 100 ) / weight of solvent.
For example, if 60 grams of salt can be dissolved in 100 grams of water at room temperature, the solubility of the salt at room temperature is 60%.
