Spermiation:

  1. Spermiation is the process of release of mature spermatozoa from the Sertoli cells of the seminiferous tubules.
  2. The mature spermatozoa are released into the lumen of seminiferous tubules.
  3. This process occurs under the influence of physiological and hormonal factors.
