Pollution it causes : 1 Mark
Combustion of carbon containing fuels, releases harmful gases but also leaves behind ash and fine particles. These fine particles are called SPM i.e. suspended particulate matter.
If they are not disposed off properly, they may lead to air pollution and water pollution. These pollutants create respiratory problems in living organisms because they can block the respiratory passage.
