What is a square root?
Square root of a number:
Square root of a number is a value, which on multiplication by itself gives the original number. The square root is an inverse method of squaring a number.
Example:
Square root of 36 is 6
Since, 6×6=36
In general, square root of a number natural number 'n' can be represented as √n.
i.e., √36=6
Square root of a negative number does not exist in real numbers.
Similarly, (6)2=36 [Since, 62 means 6×6].
