Testis in males and ovaries in females are considered as gonad glands. They secretes hormones so known as gland. Testis secretes testosterone that is responsible for the development of secondary sexual characteristics such beard, hairs, moustaches etc and ovaries secretes estrogen (responsible for ovulation) and progesterone (pregnancy hormone).
