Dear student,
Warm blooded animals like mammals can maintain a constant body temperature irrespective of the temperature of their surrounding unlike cold blooded animals like reptiles. During summers, warm blooded animals can keep their body cool through sweating while in winters they can generate heat to keep themselves warm. To say in other words, warm blooded animals can remain active during the different environmental conditions.
On the other hand, the body of cold blooded animal's get cold when the surroundings temperature fall and they get hot when the surroundings climate rises. As a result, they get over reactive in hot climates whereas stagnant during winters.
