Given:
Energy, E=2×106 kWh

1 kWh=3.6×106 J

E=2×106×3.6×106 J

E=7.2×1012 J

According to Einstein's mass-energy equivalence, the lost mass Δm can be converted into equivalent energy by the relation:
E=Δm c2, where c=3×108 m s1 is the speed of light in vacuum.

Hence,
Δm=Ec2=7.2×1012(3×108)2
=7.2×10129×1016

Δm=0.8×104 kg

Δm=0.8×104×103 g

Δm=0.8×101 g=0.08 g
