Step 1: Angle between Electric field and Dipole [Refer Fig.]
At a point P on equatorial line

ER is net electric field due to dipole at point P as shown in the figure, directed Leftwards.

The direction of dipole vector P is from q to +q charge, i.e. Rightwards.

Therefore, The angle between electric dipole moment and electric filed on the equitorial line is 180
