(Area of triangle) =12×base×height

The three sides are (10 cm, 6 cm and 8 cm).

The sides satisfy Pythagoras theorem. Hence, this is a right-angled triangle, with the sides 6cm and 8cm being the base and the height, respectively.

Hence, Area=12×6×8 cm2
=24 cm2
