a. Sericulture is basically silk farming and involves rearing silk worms.
b. It is done for the production of silk.
c. An ideal place for rearing silk worms requires a separate house where silk worms are reared.
d.The house must have adequate windows and must be in a region with a temperature of 26-28º C.
e., There are a proper measurement of the rearing house which are considered to ideal for rearing silk worms. like it should be of a size of size of 10 x 14' with a leaf preservation room.
f. An ideal size would be 400- 480 sq.ft area for rearing 100 dfls ( that is Disease Free Layings)
