What is the audibility range for the normal human ear?

Solution
It has been observed through various experiments that the human ear is not sensitive to all kinds of sounds.
The human ear responds to such sounds for which the number of vibrations per second lies within a certain limit, called the limit of audibility.
The range of hearing (audible range) for the normal human ear is 20 to 20000 vibrations per second, i.e., those vibrations whose frequency lies between 20 Hz to 20000 Hz.
The sound having frequencies above 20000 Hz and below 20 Hz cannot be heard by the normal human ear.
