Lactational Amenorrhea:

  1. Lactational Amenorrhea is also called postpartum infertility.
  2. It is temporary postnatal infertility that occurs the woman is not menstruating and fully breastfeeding.
  3. It refers to breastfeeding as a result of birth control.
  4. Sometimes it is not effective, but still, it may result in a reduction in birth ratio.
  5. Lactational Amenorrhea is caused when the secretion of gonadotropin-releasing hormones is disrupted.
  6. The action of feeding reduces GnRH secretion which further leads to a decrease in the level of LH Hormone.
