What is the basis to decide the quality of wool obtained from sheep?

The wool is obtained from the hair of the sheep. The texture and quality of the fabrics depend on the quality of the of the hairs. There are different qualities of the wool are available such as Brown fleece, Carpet wool, shawls wool, Coarse wool, hosiery, etc.

The basis to decide the quality of wool obtained from sheep is thickness, length, shine, color, and crimps of the hairs which depends on the breed of the sheep.
