Pressure (symbol: p or P) is the force applied perpendicular to the surface of an object per unit area over which that force is distributed. Its S.I unit is Pascal(Pa).

A more simple definition says Pressure means how much something is pushing on something else. It is expressed as force per unit area: P=F/A
