What is the bridge element of group 1 and group 2 in mendeleev periodic table and explain the reason.

Dear Student,
In modern periodic table bridge elements are second period elements as they show diagonal relation with third period elements. They show similar properties with the diagonal third period element. According to Mendeleev periodic table also, the same elements will show diagonal relationship and so are called bridge elements. For eg. Li of group 1 shows similar properties to Mg of group 2.
