What is the cause of dry skin after bathing?🤔

Our skin produces oily substance by oil glands present in skin. The oil produced by the skin keeps the skin smotth . But when we have bath we apply alkaline soap , due to which all the oil present on the skin gets wiped out.This makes the skin dry after a bath. Dryness depends on the soap that is used while bathing.
